At present, the way to obtain betulin is mainly through direct extraction, mainly by solvent reflux extraction and recrystallization purification, specifically:

1. Extract betulin with ethanol solution, heat and reflux for about 5h, distill the extract under reduced pressure and recrystallize it with ethanol for 2-3 times to obtain the crude betulin product.

2. The crude product is recrystallized with methanol/chloroform (1:1), and about 300mL methanol and chloroform solution is required for 80g crude product; Let it stand overnight and filter it to obtain white needle like betulin solid.

3. When refluxing, ultrasonic treatment was designed for the extraction solution for 20min to improve the extraction yield and product purity of betulin through the destruction of bark tissue. 4. The optimum conditions of supercritical CO2 fluid extraction were as follows: the dosage of modifier was 115mL/g of birch bark powder; Extraction pressure 20MPa; Extraction temperature 55 ℃; The flow rate of liquid CO2 is 10kg/h.
